Returns & Refund
This page explains our return and refund policy for all orders placed on PineGardens.com. Please read it before contacting us about a return. Most questions are answered below.
Return window
You may request a return within 30 days of the delivery date shown in your shipping confirmation email. Requests made after 30 days of delivery will not be accepted.
What can be returned
We accept returns for two types of situations.
- Defective or damaged items: If your basket arrived broken, crushed, or materially different from what was described on the product page, you are eligible for a full refund or replacement at no cost to you.
- Change of mind (buyer's remorse): If you ordered the wrong size, the color looks different than expected, or you simply changed your mind, you may return the item within 30 days. The item must be unused and in its original condition. Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility in these cases.
Return conditions
- Items must be unused or defective — baskets that show signs of use, soil contact, water damage, or pet damage are not eligible for return
- Original packaging is preferred but not required for defective returns
- Include your order number with the return
Items that cannot be returned
- Items damaged by misuse, improper care, or exposure to excessive moisture after delivery
- Items with missing components (liner, handles) that were removed by the buyer
- Items returned without prior authorization from our team
- Returns requested more than 30 days after the delivery date
How to start a return
Do not send items back without contacting us first. Unauthorized returns cannot be processed.
To request a return, email us at support@pinegardens.com with the following:
- Your order number
- The reason for the return
- A photo of the item if it arrived damaged or defective
We will respond within one business day (Monday through Friday) with return authorization and the correct return shipping address.
Return shipping address: Manly Chic LLC, 5555 Youngstown Warren Rd, Unit 12, Niles, OH 44446, United States. We will confirm this address by email when we approve your return request.
Return shipping costs
- Defective or incorrect item: We cover the return shipping cost. We will email you a prepaid return label or reimburse the shipping cost after the item is returned.
- Change of mind or size issue: The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping method. We are not responsible for items lost in transit on buyer-initiated returns.
Refund processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 3 to 5 business days.
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method (credit card, PayPal, or other method used at checkout)
- Your bank or payment provider may take an additional 3 to 5 business days to post the refund to your account. This is outside our control.
- Original outbound shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
We will send you an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.
Damaged items
If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery with:
- A photo of the damaged item
- A photo of the outer shipping box and label
- Your order number
We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you. We do not require you to return damaged items.
Order cancellation
- Orders can be cancelled for a full refund within 24 hours of purchase, provided the order has not yet shipped
- After 24 hours, orders may already be in processing or shipped. In that case, the standard return policy applies once the item is delivered
- To request a cancellation, email support@pinegardens.com with your order number as soon as possible
Not sure if your basket is the right size
Size mismatch is the most common reason for returns. Before ordering, measure the outer diameter of your nursery pot. Choose a basket with an inner opening at least 1 inch wider than your pot.
See our plant basket size guide for a full chart by pot size and plant type. If you are still unsure, email us your pot measurement before ordering and we will tell you which basket fits.
