Who we are
PineGardens is a home decor retailer based in Niles, Ohio, operated by Manly Chic LLC. We are not a manufacturer or supplier. We source and curate handwoven plant baskets for people who want their home to feel lived-in, warm, and a little more intentional.
We sell online only, shipping to customers across the United States. Every product goes through our own review before it goes on the site — we check dimensions, material accuracy, and whether the liner actually holds up.
What we sell and why
We carry woven plant baskets — seagrass, jute, and cotton rope — in sizes that fit standard nursery pots from 6 inches to 13 inches wide. That is it. We do not carry fertilizer, soil, grow lights, or garden tools.
We focus on one category because it is the one that kept coming up when plant owners talked about what bothered them. The plant looks great. The plastic nursery pot it came in does not. A woven basket changes that in about ten seconds, without repotting, without making a mess, and without spending a lot of money.
That is the problem we solve. Everything we carry is chosen with that in mind.
Who shops with us
Most of our customers are people who already have plants and want their space to look more put-together. They are not professional gardeners. They are apartment renters who cannot drill into walls, homeowners styling a living room corner, people setting up a home office shelf, or anyone who picked up a Monstera or a Snake Plant and is now figuring out what to do with the plastic pot it came in.

How we choose what to carry
We check three things before adding a basket to the site.
- Dimensions are accurate. We verify the inner diameter against the stated nursery pot size. If the basket is listed as fitting a 10-inch pot but the opening is too tight, it does not go on the site.
- Material is what it says it is. Seagrass, jute, and cotton rope behave differently. We do not mix up the names or list a product as one material when it is another.
- The liner question is answered honestly. Some baskets include a plastic liner. Some do not. We say which is which on every product page, because the liner is what protects your floor when you water your plant.
We are a small operation. We do not have hundreds of products. What we have is a short, honest list of things we have checked ourselves.
Our vision
A plant in a corner of a room changes how the room feels. Most people know this. What stops them is not the plant — it is the plastic pot it comes in, which sits there looking like it belongs in a greenhouse, not a home.
We think the gap between "I have a plant" and "my home feels good" is smaller than people expect. A woven basket is one of the things that closes it. That is what we are here for.
Finding the right size
The most common question we get is about sizing. A basket that is too small will not fit over the nursery pot. A basket that is too large will look loose and slide around.
The rule is simple: measure the outer diameter of your nursery pot, then choose a basket with an inner opening at least 1 inch wider.
- 6-inch nursery pot — choose a basket with an 7-inch or wider opening
- 8-inch nursery pot — choose a basket with a 9-inch or wider opening
- 10-inch nursery pot — choose a basket with an 11-inch or wider opening
- 12-inch nursery pot — choose a basket with a 13-inch or wider opening
